Uncle regularly goes to the Good Shepherd Catholic Church because it`s a friendly and welcoming Church and 2 religious personages previously at St Patrick’s Cathedral are there, Monsignor Bernard Kiely and Sister Mary Neven.
The Covid protocols at Church are strict – scan in and Vaccine Passes are mandatory, social distancing in alternate pews, mask on at all times except communion and lots of hand sanitising. And you have to wipe down the pew/bench around where you sit with disinfectant towelettes. You emerge from Mass feeling holy (that`s a given) and sanitised.

This house in the Auckland suburb of Balmoral was once owned by my maternal grandparents. We lived here for a short time after my grandfather passed away & when my grandmother passed away in 1956, the house was sold.
