For over 50 years we have offered specialist consultancy services, and have worked in New Zealand, South East Asia and the Pacific. The range of geotechnical services we offer continues to expand to meet increasing project complexity. We often work closely with other consultants and contractors as part of a project team. We have a large team of highly experienced engineering geologists and geotechnical engineers. They are supported by a suite of design software and field testing equipment. Geoconsult provides affordable geotechnical services with quick turnarounds, primarily to the New Zealand market, with a focus on delivering practical, cost efficient solutions to our clients. Our client base includes local government, developers, contractors, private individuals and other consultants. With over 15 staff members between our offices in Auckland, Christchurch, Tauranga, Hamilton and Whangarei our team of professional Geotechnical Engineers and Engineering Geologists have a wide range of experience and expertise within both the geotechnical and geological professions. The Geoconsult team includes Chartered Professional Engineers (CPEng) with current registered memberships of IPENZ (The Institution of Professional Engineers New Zealand), the Geological Society of London (GSL), the New Zealand Geotechnical Society (NZGS), The International Society for Soil Mechanics & Foundation Engineering and the International Society of Rock Mechanics. GEOTECHNICAL REPORTS It is often a requirement of the local council that a Geotech Report or Soil Report be provided for a building development as part of the Building Consent process.
